How often can Malaysia make headline at worlds tabloid?
Once in a blue moon! I am amazed that recently we makes big impact at New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and Financial Times. I wish I was in NY and reading it while having my morning coffee seeing my country making front page.
Sadly, its not a good coverage. It was a negative side of us. Silly isn't it?

Malaysia do wanna attracts investor and making good business deal. But while dealing theres always negative publicity that urged investor to pull back their kind mind. Why? Why are we destroying our own name? How can our economy improves and gain trust if we makes bad impression?

The issues of Kartika for example is unacceptable for investor. If the government really wants to put a stop to the inappropriate among Islam, why don't they quit making business which is might effect the people. For example stop alcohol into coming to Malaysia. But will that be good for us? I mean the economy. No!

Tourism is one of the biggest asset for Malaysia's growth. Not forgetting all the international events that held here with big sponsors by the alcohol company. If we fail in tourism, what are we left with? Plantation which is getting slow. Oil and gas is not producing our own oil, instead export it.

Sometimes looking at bigger scope is better. Not just making decision for now, but for the coming. Considering all the needs that we have to have. Look at Indonesia for example, why do we have to be two faces? We can learn and make a better living. Perhaps a good headlines at the world tabloid. I hope the foreign investor is not going to deterred from investing. All the best Malaysia!
