family time

The last Thursday of November is known as the Thanksgiving Day!
Traditionally, it is a time to give thanks for the harvest and express gratitude in general.

its not aidil zafuan or zaquan adha, its Eid al-Adha!
The festival of sacrifice is celebrated by muslim to commemorate the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismael as act of obedience to God. Eid al-Adha occurs the day after the pilgrims conducting Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca. It happens to be approximately 70 days after the end of the month of Ramadan.
I hope that the pilgrimage to Mecca gets Haji Mabrur, in addition they are well and come home safe. I pray that one day I'm able to perform Hajj too.

Happy Thanksgiving & Salam Eid al-Adha!
Wish you the blessings of happiness and peace ;)

p/s: In truth a family is what you make it. It is made strong, not by number of heads counted at the dinner table, but by the rituals you help family members create, by the memories you share, by the commitment of time, caring, and love you show to one another, and by the hopes for the future you have as individuals and as a unit.
