We have arrive to the holly month. It always been a month that I enjoy most. Lets pray that our good deeds are accepted by Allah, and that he leads us to goods.
I had a run around the house today convincing Aqil to shower. He was like "elmo, elmo... lala". It kinda annoys me. He cry, he shouts, he mumbles and refuse to shower. Mama told Aqil that we are going out and he needs to at least change his diapers, Aqil's replied "elmo, elmo...". Finally, after calling abah so many time to ask Aqil to shower, Aqil agrees for a wash.
Mama asked if I'm going for terawih, I was like "I haven't showered yet". While procrastinating, I manage a quick shower. I got ready with what I saw first. Like the pants that lay on top of the shelves and the t'shirt that I just fold.
Colourful? Silly?
I dont care. I pick them up in a hurry, wore my telekung sembahyang over it. And I made to terawih. The usual crowds of Kak Niza, Aunt Norihan and her sisters, Aunt Yuhana, Kahirin's mum, and the DIC came 5 of them.
What touch me, on the way home, Uncle Zahar asked mum "just one bodyguard? Wheres the rest?". Mama plain reply was "I send them to take care of other constitution, Melaka and KL". And he smiles and casually says "ohhh okay, good that they are looking after Malaysia".
I reach home looking for Aqil, he was asleep. Home is pretty empty. And God knows how would it be tomorrow at break fast. Perhaps like today's dinner, where just mama and abah at the dining table while I feed Aqil in front of the TV. Pretty dull and gloomy. I can't imagine when things falls into place and when we are all away, how would mama and abah be? Will Aqil still be around to cheer them up?
Note:
During Ramadan, Muslims ask forgiveness for past sins, pray for guidance and help in refraining from everyday evils, and try to purify themselves through self-restraint and good deeds.
