I was out with my brothers plus aqil last Saturday at giant to get some groceries. Saturday is the no plastic bags day! Environmental friendly, good ey?
Done picking up my things from the aisles, I walk towards the cash register. Mo took Aqil out as he was super duper active. I wasn't carrying a lot, just nestum, horlicks and dates. While Pa place the heavy mineral water on the counter. There's a customer queuing in front of me. So I just stand patiently, giving him some space. I really dislike it when people doesn't respect your space at Q, especially at ATM machine.
The cashier scan his groceries, and he has forgotten its a Saturday. He request for a plastic bag. Summing up, the cashier ask the total of RM52+ for the groceries. He opens his wallet, and he counted his money. Then, he open the plastic and remove one of the milk which cause RM26+, so now the the total comes to RM25+
The cashier cancel the items and request for the cash. He was panic of the shot of money. The nice thing about the incident, the tall with long hair Indian girl were softly calming the customer, she told that skinny specky Chinese guy "relax".
She was nice. If I were to be her judge, I would give her A+ for her customer service. Hey, things happen. Anyone could forgets to go to the ATM before groceries shopping, thinking of enough cash. Or suddenly the card doesn't work during swiping at the cash register. All you got to do is be patient. Customer service is important, because if the word of mouth spread of marking you down, no way you'll be able to raise up.
